COVID-19 & Re-Opening

The Einstein Learning Community has released its Reopening Plan in accordance with New Orleans Public Schools and The Louisiana Department of Education. Einstein will continue to work diligently to ensure that we are prioritizing the needs of our students, staff, and families. As a network, we are closely monitoring the coronavirus pandemic and taking guidance from the Louisiana Department of Health and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.

Community Feeding

In the spirit of our network’s mission of nurturing socially and emotionally resilient students, we have joined forces with NOLA-Public Schools, other school districts, and Second Harvest Food Bank, providing a community feeding location for young people in New Orleans. Meal services take place at Sarah T. Reed High School from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm on Monday and Wednesday. This is a free service provided to our community. Parents may also have food delivered by e-mailing To date, Einstein has served 40,000 meals to our community.

Distance Learning

To ensure student growth and development, Einstein has created a learning framework that will support learning that can be done at
